Waltham Abbey Stitch Group is an established group formed in 2004 for local people to meet and enjoy working on their individual craft projects with the company and support of others.
They meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 7.00pm - 9.30pm in central Waltham Abbey.
Members work on their own projects, but the group are happy to teach new members their individual craft skills such as how to do patchwork. The group currently has members who stitch, weave, knit as well as a dress/doll maker.
They are looking for new members male or female from 18 and over.
They charge £2.00 a meet subs to cover drinks and homemade cakes and use any surplus subs for days out such as visiting Alexandra Palace Stitch Show or Barleylands Craft Village.
