Waltham Abbey is a Chartered Market Town and a market has been held in the Market Square since the reign of Richard I.
There are stalls with a wide selection of reasonably priced goods available for residents and visitors.

Pitche Charges: £10 for cards and £20 for vans

Pitch Charges: Cars £10, Small Vans £12, Large Vans £14
Sellers arrive from 10.30 to 1.30pm for set up (early trader pitches set up from 9.00am @ £20 for large van pitch)
No of Pitches available: 475
Buyers: Up to 3,000 people
Public entrance charges: £3.00 from 10.30am and £2.50 from 12.00pm per adult
No booking required just turn up. New and old can be sold.
