Keep It Local Traders May Fete - Sat 3rd May 2014

Live Local - Shop Local - Eat Local - Keep It Local

Over 60 stalls will be displaying their products and services at Keep It Local Traders May Fete on Saturday 3rd May 2014 in Waltham Abbey Town Centre with stalls outside down the pedestrian Sun Street from 10.30am to 5.00pm.

Following the success of two previous indoor events held at King Harold Academy and Waltham Abbey Town Hall, a larger venue had to be found, but organisers felt it was important to stay in the Town Centre area to support local retail outlets as well, the only logical location was to extend the normal Saturday market area with stands all down Sun Street.

Please come along and meet our local traders - including Local Businesses, Retailers, Freelancers, Slimming Clubs, Team of Psychics, Toddler Groups, Kids Clubs, Cake Makers, Florists, Beauticians and Hair Dressers and Dance Academy.

Lots to keep the kids amused including Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, Arts and Crafts, Mini and Micky Mouse, free Candy Floss and Pop Corn plus live music on stage by local music and dance groups.

Please come along and meet them, and see what fantastic services we have in OUR Town and on OUR Doorstep.

Note: Free parking in Cornmill Car Park (behind the Town Hall on Saturdays), in Darby Drive car park (behind the Post Office on Saturdays) and Abbey Gardens (always free).

Keep It Local is an important message as supporting local businesses will in turn improve our town's economy, if we have a busy town centre new businesses will want to come to the town.  Plus local independents offer excellent customer service as they have passion, experience and knowledge in their products and services that you won't find in branded high street shops.

We have a great community spirit in the Abbey, use your pride in the town and spend your money with local businesses - it will make a difference!
