Pondering No 7 - Are your assets protected?
After a couple of weeks away from my desk (pondering the countryside, the sea, and a number of restaurants) it's time to re-direct my ponderings to things financial, so here goes.............
The buzzword at the moment is ‘Asset Protection'
This is another way of saying that you really should ensure that your estate (savings, investments, property, business etc) is as safe as it can be from tax liabilities.
Also that the people who you want to benefit from what you have, are the people who actually do benefit.
It's a complex area, but simple enough to sort out if you use the services of an authorised and qualified practitioner.
Many people have set themselves up as Will Writers or Asset Protection experts, but they are NOT properly versed in the intricacies of the legal/tax system, and can leave you as vulnerable as you may be currently.
Speak to someone who is properly qualified. If they can't immediately explain their relevant qualifications then they probably don't have any, so don't let them loose on your future!
As always, if you want to be aimed in the right direction, contact Pondering Paul
And something new........ On these pages I am careful not to give advice, and I intend to retain that position. The reason is simple and that is that I am qualified to give certain advice, but not to give advice in all areas. To be safe I give none on these pages.
However, because I work alongside qualified experts in all the fields on which I comment, I am able to answer questions and queries on the basis that, if I can't myself, I know a man (or woman) who can!
So, if you have any financial questions or queries, do ask. The answers are free so you've nothing to lose.
Pondering Paul awaits your questions, that you can put via the Contact Us page on our website: http://www.finance-confidential.info/
