Last Night of the Proms - Bristol Concert Orchestra 15 June

Bristol Concert Orchestra presents a Last Night of the Proms concert at St George's Bristol on Saturday 15 June at 7.30pm.
Charismatic conductor Stefan Hofkes will lead the orchestra through a programme of musical favourites including Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending (with talented local 15 year old violin soloist Jo Edwards), along with orchestral works by Ravel, Wagner and Delius.
The 'Last Night' favourites Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory round off the concert, when members of the audience will have their chance to join in bringing the evening to a thoroughly British, rousing conclusion.

There will be a retiring collection in aid of the Bristol Children's Hospital Guild of Friends.
