CASTLE BRIDLEWAYS GROUP INVITES YOU TO WALK THE MEDIEVAL WAY ON SUN 15TH MAY 10.30AM
Roman bridge near Wickwar
Discover the medieval driftway from Sturt Bridge, (known as the Roman Bridge), through ‘open access common land' into Lower Woods
...and back again!
The walk is scenic and enchanting, albeit a bit hard going in places!
Wear suitable sturdy footwear and be prepared for the British weather...
The complete round trip takes approx. 2 hours, or you could park a car/ get a lift from Inglestone Common near Lower Woods lodge,
( if you don't want to walk back!)
Tea, coffee and cake will be available upon your return
Please assemble on foot at Castle Farm, Poplar Lane, Wickwar.
All participants walk at own risk.
Sorry unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
