An Unusual Rendezvous of Violin, Baritone & Piano - Concert: A Summer Night's Dream
Sunday 12th June 2011 - concert 7.00pm, doors open 6.30pm
Renowned Anglo-German pianist and conductor Dorian Keilhack hosts a stunning evening in the Great Hall at Berkeley Castle with friend Robin Adams (Baritone) and Dorian's wife Beate (Violin).
Dorian is the Resident Conductor at Bern Opera House, but still finds time for engagements all over Europe.
The concert takes place on Sunday 12th June at 7.00pm and the programme includes works by Luis Spohr, César Franck, Robert Schumann, Werner Heider and songs by Gerald Finzi - music infused with a dash of the romantic.
The evening has been organised by Dorian's family who are based in Little Haresfield. Following a childhood visit to Berkeley Castle where Dorian expressed a great desire to play in the Great Hall - now years later that has become a reality.
Tickets include a complimentary drink and canapés, and are £25 for Adults and £10 for students and children. Tickets can be purchased by e-mailing marionodowd@virgin.net or by phone (01452) 721370.
