The excitement is brewing for the coming Bournemouth Cherries versus Manchester City fixture on 17th October. Having been promoted to the Premier league this season, Bournemouth is looking to put up a fight when they meet up with Man City for the first time in their new position. The last time the two teams came face to face was over 16 years ago, in a promotion season. Man City won the game 2-1. But, a decade and a half later, could the tables be turned, and the Cherries have their way over the vintage Man City club?
Bournemouth is all fired up to face Man City, and part of the thrill is that Man City's old sponsor, Mansion Group, has just become Bournemouth's new shirt sponsor. Mansion Group will have their logo emblazoned on the Cherries' home, away and third kits, as well as the team's gear for training sessions. Interestingly enough, some Man City fans will be quite familiar with Mansion Group's insignia as the opposition runs onto the field on 17th October. Just four years ago, Mansion Group had signed a two year deal with the club.
