This festive season and to coincide with Dickens bicentenary, the Spinnaker Tower will be launching a Christmas Carol themed celebration with its Christmas Past, Present and Future event.

Between Friday 30 November and Sunday 30 December, visitors can experience nostalgia and the fun of previous Christmases with toys from a ‘Christmas Past' on the view decks, give a ‘Present' of food to the local food bank in exchange for an admission discount and write hopes and dreams for 2013 on decorations to adorn the sparkling Christmas ‘Future' tree.

Sarah Webb, general manager at the Spinnaker Tower, commented: "A Christmas Carol is a classic and was recently voted the number one must-read book for children. With it being Dickens' bicentenary year, we felt it was the perfect time to combine celebrating his outstanding writing talent with the magic of Christmas."

The Spinnaker Tower is open daily from 10.00am to 6.00pm (excluding Christmas Day). See www.spinnakertower.co.uk or call 02392 857520 to book in advance or to find out more!
