Pottery classes at Horndean Technology College

Have you ever wanted to try pottery? Are you a complete beginner or maybe a potter with some experience wanting to work with like-minded people? We have classes at HTC to suit all levels at a very competitive price, and within easy reach of Portsmouth, just off the A3.
Our class on Monday evening will run for 10 weeks, from 19th September to 28th November 2016, 6.30 - 8.30pm. The cost is £75 per course and amazingly this covers your tuition and materials! We call ourselves the 'Horndean Potters Club' and this class is aimed at people who might already have some experience of pottery, art or crafts, and who would like to work with other like-minded people and learn new skills. We are a friendly group with a wide range of experience, and welcome new members.
On Thursday evenings, we will be launching a new beginner's class, Pottery and Clay Moddelling for beginners. The classes will run for 7 weeks 6.30 - 8.30pm. The term dates this autumn are 22nd September to 17th November 2016. The cost is £70 and again this will cover tuition and all materials/firing. There will be opportunities to try various types of hand-building techniques, and different clays and glazes.
