POETRY (KOREA 2011)
At The Omega Centre on Tuesday 29 May at 8pm The Portsmouth Film Society is showing its next film, the universally acclaimed Korean film "Poetry".
Directed by Chang Dong Lee, Poetry tells the story of a sixty-something woman, faced with the discovery of a heinous family crime and in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease, finds strength and purpose when she enrolls in a poetry class. Lee won the award for best screenplay at the 2010 Cannes Film festival and went on to universal acclaim for this touching melodrama
