Festive Fun For All The Family!

The magic of Christmas comes to Waterlooville on Saturday 16th November, 4pm - 6pm in the Town Centre.
A live Nativity with real farm yard animals, a Victorian Horse and Carriage, characters from C. S. Lewis Narnia, Father Christmas and Peppa Pig.
There will be chestnuts roasting and candy floss flowing and festive carols sung by a choir. The Mayor will switch the Christmas lights on at 5pm, everyone is welcome to come and join in the festive fun.!
Councillor Yvonne Weeks, responsible for economy and community at Havant Borough Council said: "We are delighted to be able to support this event with officer help, along with the local Asda store with staff time and equipment. The commitment of the Waterlooville Community Forum Events' Team has been amazing.
"I am sure that the community and visitors coming to the town centre will feel the Christmas Spirit of a traditional family festive event.
"It's a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping locally too".
The ‘Waterlooville Community Forum Events' team which is resident led have organised this community event which is financially supported by Havant Borough Council, Christ Alive Church, Basepoint (Waterlooville), Radian, Portsmouth City Council and Hampshire County Council.
