NEW SHOW ‘LIES' - EDINBURGH AND UK TOUR - NOW COMING TO THE SPRING ARTS & HERITAGE CENTRE
Alex Horne is an award-winning comedian and co-creator of two series of BBC4's comedy quiz show ‘We Need Answers'. He is also the creator and host of the comedy music show ‘The Horne Section' - it's a mix of stand-up comedy, cabaret performance and outlandish musical talent with guests such as Ed Byrne, Jimmy Carr, Greg Davies and more. The Horne Section was commissioned by Radio 4 for a full series in 2012. Alex has written a couple of books including ‘Birdwatchingwatching' and ‘Wordwatching' and his numerous TV appearances include ‘The Matt Lucas Awards' and ‘Dara O'Briain's School of Hard Sums'. His radio credits are numerous to mention and include ‘The Unbelievable Truth' and ‘Front Row'.

The 30 year old multi-Bafta award-winning stand up and platinum-selling R&B artist ALEX HORNE comes to The Spring for an hour of observations, impressions and lies.
The show will debut at the Edinburgh Fringe before going on an Autumn 2013/Spring 2014 UK tour.
Best known for mind blowing Powerpoint or live music, this show has neither; just Alex, a panda, some jokes and some lies. Although one of those may also be a lie. Or a joke. Either way, it'll be funny. Honest.
