Fairtrade Fortnight 23rd February to 8th March
Published: 9th February 2015 13:54 |
Buying Fairtrade makes a huge difference to the lives of some of the poorest producers in the world.
So it's always good to remind people of the benefits and a good time is Fairtrade Fortnight 23 February - 8 March.
The idea for 2015 is to spotlight the producers who grow the products we love like cocoa, sugar, and tea.
Local groups want everyone to know the dramatic difference choosing Fairtrade makes and how much it is still needed.
Finding more information is easy. You can get ideas and resources on the Fairtrade website http://www.fairtrade.org.uk/fortnight but also keep an eye on http://www.portsmouthfairtrade.org.uk/ to see what's going on locally.
