World-Class Opera Free On The Big Screen

Opera returns to the Big Screen on Friday 3 July, with a free live screening of Mozart's Don Giovanni, from the Royal Opera House in London.
This powerful dark comedy will be shown on the Big Screen in Portsmouth's Guildhall Square from 7pm
Whether you're a connoisseur or a newcomer to opera it is a great chance to watch a world-class opera performed live for free.
Limited seating will be provided on a first come first served basis and a free event programme will be available on the night.
The Big Screen Portsmouth is joining Big Screens across the UK for live performances direct from the Royal Opera House this summer as part of the BP Big Screens 2015 programme.
The final BP Big Screen of the summer will be The Royal Ballet's heart-breaking Romeo and Juliet on Tuesday 22 September.
The screenings have been organised by Portsmouth City Council in partnership with the Royal Opera House.
