Thursday 5th
Gardening Club Meeting at 7.30pm at St Andrew's Church Hall, Farlington. This month there will be another interesting talk by Brian Kidd entitled "Colour all the year round". Non-members welcome
Friday 6th
Open Morning at Solent Junior School, Drayton in the school hall at 9.10am. It is a big step transferring to the juniors so it is an opportunity for parents to see how the school manages the transition. Year 6 children will lead a tour of the school which is followed by coffee and a opportunity to ask questions
Wednesday 11th
Birds & Gardens - Perfect Partners. The Friends of Portsdown Hill present an illustrated talk at 7.45pm at the Church of the Resurrection Hall, Drayton by John Goodspeed about garden birds and the BTO Garden Birdwatch scheme. Saturday 14th
Blues and Gospel Concert by The Paul Wells Blues Band at the Church of the Resurrection, Drayton at 7.30 pm Admission free, with retiring collection. All welcome
Wednesday 18th
Three Course Meal (with drink on arrival and coffee) at 12 noon at Southdown College, Waterlooville. This is always a popular event and the number of tickets is limited so get in early. Tickets cost £15.50p and are available from the Information Centre (92380000). Proceeds are in aid of the charitable work of the Drayton and Farlington Action Group.
Saturday 28th
Dragonfly in Concert. The Inner Wheel of Cosham warmly invites you to a concert by this local band at the Church of the Resurrection, Drayton at 2.30 pm, Come along and hear your favourite hits of the 50s, 60s and 70s. Tickets - to include afternoon tea cost£10.00 and are available from box office on 023 9237 2698. Proceeds are in aid of the Roberts Centre and Portsmouth Music Hub.
Thursday 26th
Crim and Petal. A Christmas demonstration by Pat MacDonald presented by Cosham & District Floral Society at Drayton United Church. There is also a club competition entitled "A Winter's Tale". Doors open at 1.15 for 2pm. Visitors are welcome. £5 entrance fee includes refreshments
