The following events are taking place in, an around, Drayton and Farlington this month:
Every Friday
Lenten Lunches will be held at Drayton United Church, Large Hall from 11:45am - 1:15pm on the following Fridays during Lent: March 4th, 11th, and 18th. Soup, bread & cheese will be provided. Adults £2 Children 50p.Proceeds will go to Christian Aid.
Thursday 3rd
The Gardening Club AGM will be held at 7.30pm in St Andrew's Church Hall followed by a talk on Lawns by Paul Patton. Non members welcome.
Saturday 5th
50 Acres Women's' Institute Jumble Sale at St Andrews Church Hall from 8am to 11am.
Wednesday 9th
East Solent Nature Reserves. The Friends of Portsdown Hill present Rob Skinner from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust who will talk about the Trust's reserves in our area. The talk is at 7.45pm at the Church of the Resurrection Hall, Drayton. Admission is £2, including refreshments. Portsmouth Music Services Concert at The Church of the Resurrection from 630pm to 9pm.

Saturday 19th
Quiz Night with Sausage and Chips at the Drayton Centre at 7.30pm. The cost is £8 per person. (A vegetarian option available if requested before the event)
Sunday 20th
Milton Glee Club Passiontide Performance at The Church of the Resurrection 6pm to 7pm.
Admission is free with a retiring collection. All are welcome.
Wednesday 23rd
Performance of Haydn's Passion at the Drayton United Church at 7.30pm. Donations in aid of the Elizabeth Foundation for deaf children.
Two future events on Saturday 2nd April
The Gardening Club Spring Show at St Andrew's Church Hall. The event is open to the public from 1.30pm to 4.00pm (Entrance 50p).
Skittles at Purbrook Heath Bowling Club at 1.00pm for 1.30pm. This is a very popular event in aid of the Drayton and Farlington Action Group where tickets sell quickly. Tickets cost £6.50 (which includes a meal) and are available from the Information Centre. There are prizes for the winners and also raffle prizes.
