Wellbeing Day at Central Library

Central Library is launching its new Wellbeing Zone on Wednesday 11 October. To celebrate we're holding a range of wellbeing workshops, provided by BH Live.
11am: Nutritional seminar. Learn how nutrition can affect your daily performance. Grab some new recipe ideas, whilst enjoying some tasters and treats! To book your place call 023 9268 8057.
12pm: Flexibility workshop. Join us for a fun session, improving flexibility to avoid injury and keep mobile.
1pm: An informative talk on the various activities that are available locally to help control and prevent medical conditions and how keeping active really is the best medicine!
1.30pm: Official opening of the Wellbeing Zone at Central Library with Councillors Symes and Stubbs. Light refreshments will be available.
2pm: A talk on mental health and the Portsmouth Interaction Service.
2.30pm: General Q & A session on health and wellbeing.
Free health checks will be available between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3pm. These include measuring blood pressure, resting heart rate, peak flow, height and weight (BMI).
