Fish and chips are a tradition as old as the roast dinner in Britain, and what better way to end the week than a take away of the delicious dish on a Friday? Maybe after leaving the pub?
Why not combine the two by visiting the Portsbridge public house in Cosham?
The Portsbridge offer fresh fish and chips, prepared and battered on the premises where you can either enjoy your meal in the warm and friendly surroundings of the local pub, or order to take out with you when you leave!
As well as offering a delicious and good value menu, which includes a fish and chip special on Fridays of 2 meals for only £6.99, the Portsbridge also provides a good selection of their tasty menu to take away with you for as little as £3.49.
I tried the fish and chips last night and was very pleasantly surprised. The portions were generous and the quality of food and service, outstanding. The fish was succulent and cooked to perfection, whilst the light batter was delicious with no hint of grease.
So, if you are after a fun, family evening out including, or ending with a delicious, cheap meal then why not pop down to the Portsbridge and enjoy their everyday good value and tasty offerings, or take advantage of one of their daily specials? You won't be sorry!
