A fantastic free event is giving small businesses about to start or those which wish to grow access to some the city's finest business minds and expert help.
Organised by the Business and Enterprise group, part of Shaping the Future of Portsmouth, the Meet the Entreprenablers event is being held on Monday 18th November, 6.30pm to 9.00pm at 1000 Lakeside as part of Global Entrepreneurs Week.
There will be several speakers from across the commercial sector including Tim Forer of Blake Lapthorn who will be presenting a guide to some of the common legal aspects of starting and running a business, commercial management considerations for an evolving business by Stef Nienaltowski of Integritie and business modelling - turning an idea into reality by Shena Mitchell of Innovation Warehouse and Philip Ely from the University of Portsmouth.
The final presentation of the evening will give attendees ideas for accessing all important financial help which is available to the SME economy. Presenter Simon Frost , CEO of Parity Trust based at 1000 Lakeside says "I am consistently pleasantly surprised to hear many people stating the importance of social enterprise and access to finance and non-traditional banking solutions. I would however add many of the components to provide this solution already exist including here at Parity Trust. We and many more organisations across the southern region are seeking to lend more to charities, small businesses and social enterprises now and in the future."
Everyone attending the event will be given the opportunity to ask questions of the expert panel and network with them and other businesses.
