Local open gardens raises their record amount for charities

Westbourne residents opened up their gardens last weekend to a record number of attendees.
The open gardens team are pleased to annouce that they had the most successful event ever with over 1100 visitors and raised £11,000 for local charities and organisations.
A big well done to all the organisers and everyone that supported this great day out! Westbourne village has never seen anything like it!
The charities who will benefit are:
St Wilfreds Hospice
Westbourne Scouts
Ems Valley Community Transport
Westbourne WI
Westbourne Primary School
The Church & War Memorial
The Allotment Association & Flower Show
