Cat Charity Gets Cream Of Crop

A new letting of a retail unit in The Boulevard in Waterlooville has been agreed with a leading regional charity.
The As Soon As Possible (ASAP) Cat Rescue charity has relocated from an arcade nearby into a prime trading position at number 17.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major, which acts as letting agents for The Boulevard shops, successfully negotiated the new lease which had an asking rent of £21,250 per annum.
Simon Lee, retail partner, said: "This is another retail unit successfully let in this centrally located precinct.
"ASAP Cat Rescue is a leading regional charity which has relocated from Wellington Way Arcade nearby.
"It is among a number of new occupiers which have taken prominent trading positions in The Boulevard recently.
"It shows growing confidence in the market and enhances Waterlooville's increasing ability to attract retailers to the town."
Recent new occupiers at The Boulevard have also included The Cartridge Factory and Kingswell Kitchens Ltd.
The Boulevard is well located in Waterlooville town centre as a busy pedestrian shopping arcade linking the main pedestrianised section of London Road with the Dukes Walk shopping centre.
Nearby occupiers include leading national chains Costa, Waitrose, Wilkinson, Specsavers, Halifax, Robert Dyas and O2 as well as independent traders.
