I remember the Verrechias (forgot how to spell it lol), that use to be at the side of the Guildhall. It use to be like a railway coach with cubicles. We use to meet in there at the weekend before we all piled on to a train to go to the countryside. That was back in the good old 60s.

I too remember Verrechia's where, as a school boy at the Northern Grammar, I spent hours between bouts at the Central Library. It was home to many a long philosophical discussion with classmates. I am now a university professor of philosophy so the place paid dividends!
