Local Business Supports Portsmouth Breast Friends with Fundraising Fun

fundraising event for Portsmouth Breast
Friends The owners of a wedding shop in Portsmouth are organising a fundraising event for a local breast cancer support group.
Rob and Andrew Pearce from Creatiques Couture in Marmion Road, Southsea, decided to offer their support after the chair of the group, Sandy Turvill, came in to be fitted for a wedding dress.
Sandy who has had breast cancer and a mastectomy visited Creatiques after it was recommended by a friend. Sandy said, "Andrew and Rob made me feel that they could help me and whatever problem there was dressing me, they could make it right. They made me feel confident enough to look good on my wedding day."
Sandy added, "When they told me that they were raising funds for Portsmouth Breast Friends, I was absolutely amazed. What a kind gesture that is."
Andrew Pearce from Creatiques, said, "We were looking for a charity to support so, after Sandy came in, we decided on Portsmouth Breast Friends as we like to keep it local."
Sandy is so thrilled that she has decided to hold her hen night at the event before her wedding in June.
The event is on the 28th May from 7.30pm till 12pm at The Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Quays and the party continues after at 69 Palmerston Road, Southsea. Tickets cost £20 each and are available from Creatiques, 96 Marmion Road, Southsea, PO5 2BB or telephone 023 92 82 66 22.
