Langstone Technology Park Plans to be Discussed

Published: 15th May 2019 17:54

Proposals for new business premises and layout for Langstone Technology Park, Langstone Road, Havant will be discussed on Tuesday 21 May at 6pm.

The Development Consultation Forum (DCF) will be held in the Council Chamber at The Plaza, Civic Centre Road, Havant with the developer holding an exhibition showcasing their plans before the meeting from 5:30pm.

The proposals are for outline permission for part demolition and reconfiguration of Building 1000 and reconfiguration of car park layout and detailed permission for new employment (B1c, B2 and B8) units.

Members of the public can attend and listen to the debate, with the option of completing feedback forms with their individual comments at the end of the meeting.

To find out more information about this proposal, please visit http://www.havant.gov.uk/development-consultation-forums

Simon Jenkins, Havant Borough Council’s Director of Regeneration and Place said: "These forums are a good way for developers to recognise and address community concerns before submitting their formal planning application.  No decisions about the proposals are made at this forum.”

Details of the proposal are available to view on the Development Consultation Forum page on the Havant Borough Council website.

DCFs are held in public but are not public meetings and therefore only invited speakers, councillors and officers can contribute.

Anyone with views on the proposal is encouraged to contact their councillor or community representative.
