Artists and craftspeople from the group Crafts in the Tower will be celebrating Easter with an exhibition of work by members of the artists’ co-operative on Easter Sunday 21st April from 11am to 4pm.
Regular exhibitors will be joined by Donna Holmes, who makes sculptures and pictures inspired by wild animals. See her soft foxes, horses, hares and hedgehogs and her beautiful animal paintings.
Sue Meredith, inspired by living close to the sea, has some lovely new works in paint and pastel on show.
Kendal James has been creating some innovative maps of Portsmouth which highlight all our city’s exciting features both ancient and modern: you can buy her original watercolours or choose smaller prints.
There will be three jewellers present with beautiful and tempting works to show. In addition ceramicists Di Wren and Rose Bates will have some seasonal creations for your home and garden.
Freya Perry and Mel Brundrit will be showing their paintings along with the welcome return of Shyamala with her mandala arts.
Add to that vintage prints, modern books, and dazzling gilding and there should be something for everyone. The tea room will be open and admission is free.
