Walks on Portsdown Hill

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust have three walks on Portsdown in July.

Wednesday 4th July - Glow-worms on Portsdown Hill

After a short walk on Portsdown, participants will search for glowworms on the way back to  cars. The walk is 2 to 3 miles with some slopes.  Meet at 8.30 p.m. Park carefully and meet at the junction of Gillman Rd and Grant Road, Drayton

Wednesday 18th July -Paulsgrove chalk pit walk. 

Meet in the lay by on James Callaghan Drive, at 8pm

Wednesday 25th July - Walk new paths on Portsdown.

On this 2 mile walk, explore new routes on the north face of Portsdown and return along the top of the south side of the hill.  7pm till about 8.30.  Meet in the car-park in Widley Walk west of the Churchillian.
