Oddfellows is one of the largest and oldest friendly societies in the UK, and has over 1300 members in the local district.
The friendship and social events help our members get more out of life, and offer care, advice and support in times of need.
Our four Branches hold regular get-togethers in and around the Hitchin, Bedford, Buckingham and Wellingborough areas, such as talks, lunches and coffee mornings to help our members have fun, stay active and make friends. The Hitchin group meets on a Tuesday morning at Tilehouse Street Baptist Church.
Each year our Oddfellows group raises hundreds of pounds for good causes, such as the Garden Hospice and Addenbrookes Kidney Research. As a non-profit mutual, we're run by our members for our members.
The Oddfellows welcomes everyone, from all walks of life and ages. It costs £30 a year (£28 by Direct Debit) to join and become a member of our friendly society.
