Dance the New Year in!

What better way to see in the New Year than to go to the Unicorn Ceilidhs "BIG ONE" at Pirton Village Hall SG5 3PS. Dancing starts at 8:00 with The Watch and Barry Goodman, there will be a sumptuous two-course buffet, and real ale bar and a tot of whisky at midnight - and all for just £25!
The Watch is a three piece band playing music for English dances. They are Gareth Kiddier playing stompy piano, driving the percussive and rhythmic feel; Dan Quinn, who was at the forefront of the English country music revival in the 1980s being a founder member of several innovative bands, on melodeons, and Rob Murch on banjo. They play the tunes, play around with the tunes, and get you dancing.
Barry Goodman is well-known nationally as a caller with some of the top bands in the country. He has performed at dances from Devon to Lancashire, Norfolk to Wiltshire and most places in between! Whether you're new to ceilidh dancing or a regular dancer, Barry will call a programme of dances that will suit everyone.
Tickets are available from Alan Creamer at alan.creamer@btinternet.com or 01582 72426.
