Silverstone 95% sold for the 2015 Formula 1 British Grand Prix Silverstone has announced that tickets for this year’s Formula 1 British Grand Prix which takes place in just five weeks (3-5 July) are very close to selling out and is urging fans who want to experience one of the greatest sporting events of the summer to book their tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
A combination of factors including recent ticket promotions and a revised child pricing policy have resulted in record sales for this year’s event and only 5% of total capacity remains available to sell.
Following the increased demand in recent months Silverstone has created additional capacity by opening up space in prime viewing locations including at Club and Becketts corner and a limited number of general admission tickets are also still available.
Patrick Allen, Managing Director of Silverstone commented “Thanks to recent pricing initiatives and opening up the event to make it more affordable for families we are now almost full. Demand has been tremendous and we are 95% sold and predicting that 2015 will be a record breaking crowd.” For further information, or to book tickets, visit www.silverstone.co.uk or call 0844 3728 300.
