Putting Together the Perfect Stag Do

Brighton is well known for playing host to many a stag do and hen night, and anyone who has attended a stag do lately will know that the common stag do has evolved and grown into an elaborate entity known as the ‘stag weekend'.
Although not always the case, the traditional ‘stag do down the local with your best mates' is fast becoming a thing of the past, and stag dos are fast becoming steadily more intricate year on year. The modern stag do encompasses not just boozing down the local with a soon-to-be-forgotten trip to the Pussycat Club before ceremoniously passing out in the Honey club, but also day time activities such as paintballing and zorbing.
Stag Dos Abroad
Not only has the modern stag do expanded to include day time activities alongside the usual booze-stripper-club-pass out combo, many of them are now taking place abroad. Although our fair town of Brighton still receives its fair share of stag do traffic, much of it will be coming from outside of Brighton and much of it is being lost to cheap European cities such as Prague, where anything goes and the streets are flowing with inexpensive beer.
Stag Do Companies
In light of the growth of the modern stag do, an offshoot of the events and entertainment industry has emerged that specialises in organising stag dos. Given that organising a stag do has become such a complex affair involving many people and almost as many activities, this is not just opportunism, but a reprieve for the put upon best man whose duties have expanded on those he would have been expected to perform only a few years ago.
Stag do companies will of course have a number of set packages that can make bookings easier, but most will also offer custom packages, meaning the best man and groom-to-be may still have to do a little bit of thinking, but the actual organising falls to the stag do company. This is of particular use to those wishing to celebrate their impending nuptials abroad - bringing together a number of disorganised men to fly them off to foreign climes for a weekend of debauchery is not as easy as it sounds, and it probably doesn't sound easy.
Of course, not everyone wants to go with a third party organiser for their final days of bachelorhood, but the appeal of hiring professionals must be enticing to those who find themselves lumbered with the job of sending off their best friend into the wilderness of marriage faced with the expectations of modern stag do.
