Learn New Crafts at Brinscall Hall - Sunday Afternoon each month

Working together with other artists brings out a certain magic. And there is nothing like connecting with like-minded people, learning new skills, engaging with creative media and practices, to make you feel fully alive, contented and wide-awake. You don’t have to be a practised artist or craftsperson to really appreciate working with wonderful colours, materials, forms and textures and to produce beautiful end results.
What creative people with busy lives often lack is the space (and not just physical space) to come quietly back in touch with their innate creativity and give it free rein. This is why we have called this ‘Craft Space’.
At each meeting you can just get on with a project you already have in mind or you can choose to try a new craft, or a new take on one you are familiar with, and discuss how it may be tied in with the ideas you are already working on.
There will be a charge of £12 each time to cover the teacher’s fee, craft materials and also lovely home-made cakes. Teas and coffee will be freely available throughout the afternoon.
The dates so far are: 9th February; 16th March; 27th April; 18th May; 22nd June; 13th July.
On 9th February the subject will be Ceramic techniques and practice. The crafts to be covered on other dates will be published on our website when finalised.
We need to ask you to book in advance as places will be limited.
To book go to our website www.brinscallhall.co.uk and click on Courses + Workshops.
