The world of rugby is celebrating the news that the 2015 Rugby World Cup will be held in England.

The news means that the international game will be returning to its English roots in six years' time with hundreds of thousands of fans expected to flock to the game's birthplace.

Steve Borthwick is relishing the thought of playing in 2015, telling today's RFU.com podcast :
I'm no spring chicken but don't rule me out ! It's really exciting, the sport that's coming to this side of the world. We've got the Olympics, the Rugby World Cup and hopefully the Football World Cup, it's excellent.
Just thinking back to when I was a kid watching the '91 cup final it's definitely something that inspired me, it made me want to go on and represent my country at rugby. From a rugby players' point of view, an incentive like that will make every player want it."
