The athlete's involvement was made possible due to the fantastic fundraising efforts over the past two years which has included events and activities such as a race night, a ten-pin bowling challenge, a Christmas party and various bag packs.
Corrina Thorley, Chairperson, said: "All of the coaches and athletes were totally amazed and inspired by the commitment and support they received in surpassing the target set for fundraising for the Games and I think this shows in the results we enjoyed in Leicester.
"Thank you to all the individuals and sponsors who made Ellesmere Port and Neston's inclusion in the Games possible. We would like to dedicate our success to Joseph Rainford who was part of the ten-pin bowling team though couldn't compete due to illness but came to Leicester with his family to support his friends."
