Melchbourne Feast Day 750
Published: 20th May 2014 17:02 |
It's a celebration of 750 years of holding an annual 'fair', a right given to Melchbourne in 1264 by Henry III. So we're pushing the boat out! With more than 17 separate attractions from archery to morris dancing and from birds of prey to a brilliant flower festival we have something for everyone. There's singing from the 17th century styled Bedford Gallery Quire to dancing to the tunes of Glenn Miller and others in the grounds of the magnificent Melchbourne House and there's stalls galore with everything you'd expect to find at this premier event.
Melchbourne lies just off the A6 near Sharnbrook. Parking is free and entrance is just £1.00 with children under 12 free.
So put it in your diary - Melchbourne Feast Day 750 Sunday 13th July from 1.00pm to 5.00 pm.
