HiltonThis year's Yesteryear Road Run 2012 will be held on a different date, at an exciting new venue and it will have a brand new route! But in true tradition, the unmissable Cambridgeshire vintage parade will be supporting Magpas yet again. (Last year, an incredible £20,000 was raised for The Emergency Medical Charity).
On Sunday 5th August, up to 400 old cars, tractors and motorbikes will take to the roads; starting at Burwash Manor in Barton, moving onto Orwell, Barrington, Grantchester and finally ending up back at Burwash.
Yesteryear Committee member Vanda Parcell said, "The beauty of this route is there's not a traffic light in sight!" Together, Vanda and her fellow committee members Sue Papworth, Ray Parcell and Derek Porter have worked tirelessly to get this eye opening annual spectacle organised.

We have people signed up from all over the county of Cambridgeshire and from as far away as Devon!"
Vanda went on to say, "We would also like to thank the incredible team of volunteers involved, we couldn't do this without them".
If you'd like to go along and join in the heritage of Yesteryear, Magpas ask you to save the date and come and show your support. Or, why not sign up and take part in the event itself! We're also looking for more volunteers to come forward. If you'd like to join the team, please contact Debbie at Magpas on (01480) 371 062. Thank you.
