Mothering Sunday guided walk

Take a journey through the history of Ickworth park with one of our expert guides. A fascinating walk taking in the Rotunda, church, walled garden and canal lake with a fun history of the park, modern park management and a look at the eccentric Hervey family. Enjoy the stunning display of daffodils that Ickworth enjoys, how about taking Mum for lunch in the restaurant followed by a walk. Meet next to the lodge at 2pm. Walk takes around 1 hour. HENRO Japanese art exhibition and sale

An exhibition by Takumasa Ono, an official artist of the National Trust in Japan. The exhibition will include silk screen prints, traditional Japanese paintings, sumi-e-ink drawings and watercolours inspired by National Trust places.

Conservation in action - Light and textiles

The conservation team will be taking light readings throughout the Rotunda. Light is one of the main factors of deterioration for historic properties and caring for items to last for ever for everyone is a constant challenge. Come and speak to the House team and find out how they tackle the problem of light.
