During WWII Blickling Hall and its surrounding buildings and land became billets for aircrew from nearby RAF Oulton. Explore this important part of our story with special tours, memorabilia and costumed interpretation. Visit the museum and discover the stories of the brave men & women who served as part of Bomber Command squadrons and risked their lives carrying out raids during WWII.  Usual admission applies (NT members free). Capture the Movement of the Coast

Come and photograph the beautiful North Norfolk Coast looking specifically at the theme of 'Movement' - from the grasses in the dunes blowing in the wind to the crashing waves of the sea, or the early morning lapping tide to boats bobbing in the water. Also a different type of movement - that of visual movement - the snaking water in the creaks, the patterns of the sand on the beach etc. This workshop weekend is suitable for all levels of experience, digital SLR or compact cameras.

Have you ever wondered what Nordic Walking is?  Come and find out at Oxburgh Hall.  We are offering taster sessions with a fully qualified instructor.  Each session lasts about an hour, covering the basic technique and giving an insight into how the poles can propel you along and work the whole body.  All equipment will be provided; please wear comfortable shoes.  You may wish to bring something to drink while you are walking but tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided at the end.

A Night of Folk Music with Terence Blacker

Join the writer and musician Terence Blacker as he introduces an evening of Folk music, including Cajun, Old-time, Appalachian, English acapella, Contemporary and Jazzy/Funk, featuring the Milkmaid Folk Club's bands and musicians.

During the evening why not enjoy a pint of one of our special ales: Milkmaid Mild or Theatre Royal Bitter in the Greene Room (before, during or after the show).
