YES! COLLEGIUM REGALE RETURNS TO HISTORIC PARISH CHURCH!
Spring into the Spring with fabulous music in an unforgettable concert by
the world's most famous Choral Scholars on Tuesday 5th April 2011 at 7.00 pm:
It is an enormous privilege as well as a very real pleasure to be able to tell you about this special Concert arranged in support of the Parish Church Choir Fund. On Tuesday evening 5th April at 7.00 pm we will be delighted to be welcoming back to the Parish Church Collegium Regale - the Choral Scholars of the world-renowned Choir of King's College, Cambridge.
The programme is in two parts - first, a marvellously varied selection of sacred music and secondly a less formal presentation of music in a lighter vein
After a short drinks interval, the programme tells us that "the music of the second half will be announced from the stage". This part of the programme is invariably much less formal and a vast diversity of items will be a special and particular highlight.
We are so very grateful to Mr Albert Andrews, a member of the Friends of the Music, for once again so generously sponsoring events for us this year in order that costs may be covered upfront and as much as possible collected for the direct benefit of the Parish Church and its Choir. Your support of our efforts will be gratefully, appreciated! Admission to Coll Reg is FREE, with retiring collections at each.
