The Rotary Club of Roundhay and Lord Mayor of Leeds will host the North Leeds Charity Beer Festival on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th April 2012. The Charity Festival will be held at the Community Hall of St Aidan's Church, Roundhay Road, Leeds LS8 5QD, where the Lord Mayor, Revd Canon Alan Taylor is the parish priest.
The Rotary Club of Roundhay are organising a major fund raising event for local, national and international charities. One of the major benefactors will be The Lord Mayor of Leeds Charity Appeal, "Voluntary Action-Leeds" which for 60 years has been providing innovative and direct support, services and specialist advice to hundreds of voluntary, community and faith groups enabling them to carry out their work across the city.
The North Leeds Charity Beer Festival will be an excellent opportunity to sample some of the 30 West Yorkshire produced ales. CAMRA, The Campaign for Real Ale are offering their assistance and expert knowledge and their many volunteers will be making sure the beers are served correctly.
No event is complete without live music and there will be a number of bands performing throughout the North Leeds Charity Beer Festival. Locally produced food will also be available and served at all times.
