3AAA Creates Over 125 New Jobs for Young People in National Apprenticeships Week

Author: Redbrick Published: 7th March 2012 13:07

A national training organisation created over 125 new jobs for young people in just five days during National Apprenticeships Week.

Aspire Achieve Advance Group Limited (3AAA), based in Derby, recruited 125 employers who committed to immediate job opportunities for apprentices across 3AAA's national network of academies in further education colleges.

3AAA manages 11 National IT Partnership (NITP) academies and four Accounting Academy Partnerships (AAP). NITP academies provide apprentices with industry recognised IT qualifications, underpinned with the practical and valuable experience secured via employment as an apprentice. AAP academies aim to provide the next generation of Accounting Technicians to feed the demand for young and dynamic qualified professionals through the delivery of the highly regarded Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification.

Peter Marples, Director, Aspire Achieve Advance Group Limited, says: "This is a fantastic start to our campaign to create 2012 new jobs for young people in 2012. One hundred and twenty five companies across the UK are now taking on young people in their businesses as Apprentices. This response is unprecedented.

"We are successfully matching young people with employers, getting them into real work and providing them with their first step on their chosen career ladder. We could not have achieved this without the commitment of the employers we work with, many of them small and medium size enterprises.

"Since the launch of our campaign, only two months into the year, we are delighted to have secured over 400 job opportunities for Apprentices. These are sustainable jobs with committed businesses. Furthermore, we have clear visibility of a further 150 job opportunities which we are confident of filling in the next 6 - 8 weeks. We are hopeful of moving into May with over 800 vacancies identified and filled with committed employers, nearing the half way mark in our bid to create 2012 jobs in 2012."

3AAA works in partnership with local colleges across the UK to deliver local solutions for young people, employers and adults learning in the workplace. NITP academies are located in Walsall, Tamworth, Bedford, Letchworth, St Albans, Enfield, Portsmouth, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, Oxford and Birmingham. Accounting Academy Partnerships locations include Letchworth, Milton Keynes, St Albans and Birmingham with a fifth Academy to open soon in Liverpool.
