The next Farmers Market in Towcester will be on Friday 14th September 2018, at Richmond Road car park in Towcester, next to Dominos. The market runs from 9am to 1.30pm
Even though the A5 is closed between the Saracens Head junction to near to the entrance to Richmond Road, the market will still be taking place as usual. The other car parks are all available for town visitors, except for the market square where only the disabled bays can be used. There is enough parking elsewhere, and with no through traffic clogging up the roads, access should not be an issue to people coming in to the town.
We expect to have the usual produce available, including the wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables, and artisan bread from the Brackley Bakery, as well as a small but interesting variety of other stalls attending the market this month, and the hope that new stalls will be added soon too.
The Towcester and District Lions Club, who run the market to raise money for local charities, continue with their aim to provide a the unique selection of products and produce that cannot be purchased in local shops, while supporting local businesses.
