The next Farmers Market in Towcester will be on Friday 8th February 2019, at Richmond Road car park in Towcester, next to Dominos. The market runs from 9am to 1.30pm
Plans to keep the market running for another 12 months have been confirmed, and it is hoped that greater advertising, and public support, will make this possible. The management continue to look at keeping the market busy through bringing in new stall holders, and this month is no exception, with a new eggs seller expected to attend, and bringing a range of honey and jams along with them too, which have been missing from the market for a while now.
While we still lack a suitable and reliable meat seller, attempts continue to attract a local business to come to the market on a regular basis, and any other types of stalls are also welcome if they add something new to the variety of produce available at the market.
The Towcester and District Lions Club, who run the market to raise money for local charities, continue with their aim to provide a the unique selection of products and produce that cannot be purchased in local shops, while supporting local stall holder businesses.
