SNVB works across the whole district of South Northamptonshire.
Towcester, in the centre of the district are the main centre of population. However, the majority (72%) of South Northamptonshire's residents live in its many villages.
SNVB is a company limited by guarantee (no. 5068116) and a registered charity (no.1104848). We are a quality accredited member of Volunteering England and a member of the Northamptonshire Forum of Volunteer Bureaux and the Local Strategic Partnership.
We work with volunteers and local voluntary groups on a day to day basis. We place and support volunteers and offer support to organisations which use volunteers. Organisations turn to us when they need volunteers or want advice or help with managing and developing their activities.
We are the local administrators for the national volunteering database at www.do-it.org.uk which advertises over 200 local volunteering opportunities.
