On Tuesday 2nd April 2019, eight dragons on shields will appear in Towcester shops, there to remain until Tuesday 23rd April.  On each shield will be a letter and you need to discover all eight letters, which together will form a word.

Clues to the shops in which these shields are to be found are on the official entry forms, price £3, which are now available at Towcester Library, Coleman’s Stationers and Towcester Museum.

After your quest is completed fill in the answers on the official entry forms and return them to Towcester Library by Tuesday the 23rd April. Those who have been successful will be entered into the drawer for the winner and three others to indulge in finely cut sandwiches, savoury treats, cakes, pastries and freshly baked scones with preserve and clotted cream at the Bell Plantation Garden Centre, Towcester (worth over £49).

All moneys raised will go the Mayor’s fundraising for The Blind Veterans UK, Towcester Vision Youth Cafe and Tove Wetland Pocket Park.

This “Quest” is being organised by Towcester & District Local History Society who are also donating the prize. Please support us in raising funds for all these worthy causes.
