10th Annual Towcester Beer Festival

Having just launched our Brighter Communities campaign, and as we’re building at our nearby development Redhouse Farm at Towcester Grange, we were delighted to have the opportunity to support such a popular community event and look forward to meeting everyone on the day.”
A fantastic array of 40 local and UK beers and 20 ciders are available to come and try over the weekend along with some terrific entertainment for young and not so young as well as some great food. This is always a relaxed family event to enjoy over the bank holiday weekend.
Beers & Ciders
The selection is fantastic this year featuring brewers from across the land including:
local beers from Towcester Old Mill Brewery, Gun Dog Brewery beers from Woodford Halse, the Tring Brewing Company and Northampton brewers Phipps. As always, an impressive array of ciders from as far afield as Somerset, Herefordshire, Wales and of course Northamptonshire.
Music
The weekend will be kicked off on Friday night with cover bands ‘MLC’ and a return for the ever popular, ‘Blister’. On Saturday starting at 1pm, the afternoon features local acoustic singer ‘Craig Live’ and 4 piece band, ‘The 88s’.
In the evening bands include, back by popular demand, ‘Crimson monkey’ and headlining, ‘Usual Suspects’.
It all kicks off again Sunday at 1pm with ‘Back In Time’, featuring drums, bass, 2 guitars and 4 vocals followed by rock band ‘Cornucopia’ and finishing the line up on early Sunday evening, ‘The Travelling Willbys’ A great live band often seen gigging around the pubs of Northampton playing iconic songs that everyone loves.
Entertainment
There will be plenty for the kids during the daytime with bouncy slides and obstacle courses, on Sunday, soft ball organized by Towcester Tigers Softball team, plus family games for everyone to join in organised by Towcestrians RFC Mini & Junior Section. Sunday will also see the return to the festival of The Rose and Castle Morris, local Morris dancers from Stoke Bruerne.
Food
Catering for all tastes, with a BBQ and Hog Roast Friday evening, Saturday various street food vendors including, Bandit Street Food (Burgers & wraps), Bakers Bangers (artisan handmade sausages), Saf's Kitchen (Indian cuisine), Duck n’ Bite (confit of duck rolls) plus Howe’s Fish & Chips’. Sunday will see the return of Wood Fire Oven Pizzas.
