It's National Cask Ale Week! Running from today until 29 September 2019, this national campaign is an annual reminder of the importance of real ale in community pubs.

To help celebrate and support this campaign, Towcester Mill Brewery's brand new seasonal ale, Green Hop, will soon be out on draught. Brewed with fresh hops on Thursday 5 September 2019, our renamed Green Hop ale is 4.8%. "Because it's brewed with the freshest hops," explained Brewery Director, John Evans, "We can create a beer that gives completely different characteristics, flavours and aromas. This year we have used a hop called Endeavour which has complex blackcurrant, loganberry and spice notes, with a wonderful grapefruit and lime flavour. And it's vegan!"

Do come and check it out when it's available in the next few days and at the same time support Towcester Mill Brewery's Tap Room. For more information about Cask Ale Week visit www.caskaleweek.co.uk.
