Towcester Mill Brewery's Beer of the Month for November is Black Fire.
Black Fire is one of the Mill's core beers and is brewed using selected malts that add only colour to this refreshing tasting dark spicy stout. The dark fruit aromas of the Brambling Cross hop come through on the nose making it a perfect beer to warm you up during these dark and colder nights!
It also coincides perfectly with International Stout Day, which is now in its eighth year. Held since 2011, International Stout Day is usually celebrated on the first Thursday of November. According to www.stoutday.com, the first stouts were produced in the 1730s and stout originally meant 'proud or 'brave', but then morphed into the connotation of 'strong'. At 5.2%, Black Fire is the Mill's strongest core ale.
500ml bottles of Black Fire are now down to £2.75 for all of November and a case of 12 bottles reduced to £28. Pop into the Brewery Shop at the Bell Plantation Garden Centre, to pick up a bottle or two.
Black Fire is also available on draught in the Tap Room. Cheers!
