Speaking to AboutMyArea/NN12 Susan Feasey of Towcester's Tove Valley Centre said, "We are delighted to welcome Fynnius Fogg back to Towcester to entertain us with music of the 60's and 70's on Saturday 13th April 2019 at 7.30 pm, at Towcestrians Sports Club, Greens Norton Road, Towcester, NN12 8AW.
"If you have attended one of their events in the past, you will know what a good evening it promises to be. As usual, there will also be an auction of various items including 'A Meal for 6 to enjoy in your own home'. Tickets are just £10 including light refreshments, available now from Colemans Stationers in Towcester or by emailing email@example.com.
"There is ample parking on site and a licensed bar. Desserts will be available to purchase.
"Fynnius Fogg formed in the 1960's, playing Pop and Rock numbers until 1978, when the 4 band members followed their separate careers and the group disbanded. In 1991, the guys decided to reform with the original band members, but rather than take money for gigs, they agreed to play at a limited number of events per year to raise as much money as they could for good causes. They have raised over half a million pounds to date. For more information about the band, please visit www.fynniusfogg.co.uk
"Also very popular are our Quiz Evenings with Quizmaster Hilary Aslett. Our next event will be Friday 7th June at 7pm, at the Saracens Hotel, Towcester. More details to follow nearer the time.
"Both events are to raise funds for the Tove Valley Centre Project.
"The Tove Valley Centre will be built on Northampton Road in Towcester. It will be the home of Tove Valley Baptist Fellowship and will enable the church to deliver its services to the community, such as parent and Toddler Group, Youth Clubs and Holiday Club, more effectively.
'It will also be avilable for hire by the people, groups and organisations of Towcester and surrounding villages."
