Roasted Onions with Thyme

Ingredients
2 onions per person
1 garlic clove per onion
sprigs of thyme
olive oil
balsamic vinegar
Instructions

- Peel back the outer skin layers of each onion and then cut a cross right down to the root.
- Stuff each onion with some sprigs of thyme and a peeled garlic clove.
- Sprinkle the onions with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
- Place the onions in an ovenproof dish and cover with foil.
- Roast at 200°C/gas mark 6 for about 45 minutes, until tender.
Serve with your Sunday roast or grilled meats.
